run rio trilogy - leg 1

My second marathon experience. This is also my very first for this year and firsts under the 5kilometer category. Days before the run I felt nervous and I really thought why should I, when this should be a fun run. I did prepare for this run - had practice runs at least two or three weeks before the actual event. I was thinking I have to simply because I want to get through the race, cross the finish line and not end up inside an ambulance. Above all, I want to have fun!

On the day of the run, the feeling was different. I got excited, especially upon seeing the number of runners on the starting line.

This is  another successful event for celebrity running coach - Rio dela Cruz.
On the initial results, I placed 28th among the female runners. But as per the official and complete list, there were several runners who finished ahead of me. Personally, it was a good run and I am so happy with the results…:)
